With so many graphic sites around, I felt the need to make something different, something unique, some place where I can combine all my interests and share them with others. I don't know if I managed to actually be different, but I tried my best, and I'll keep trying, growing, learning something new, improving, challenging myself and my limitations - because I believe that there are no limitations to creation, imagination, and fantasy.
My previous sites
My first website was created a couple of years ago and was called Vision of Paradise. The site featured my wallpapers, blends, poetry, some fantasy art and info about me. I moved on from there to my poetry site, separated fantasy art gallery (called Edge of Dreams), my graphic site (called Whispers) and it all made me, well, crazy. The coding was lousy and the designs quite plain. So, I decided to combine it all into one site, clear it out and finally buy a domain.
The growth
The domain was bought on February 17th 2005. I added so much other content that it became (in my opinion) crowded with good and bad work. I don't want this site to be crowded with content, I want it to have good graphics. It's so hard to define the idea of "good", since it varies from one individual to another. I had a different perspective of quality when I was starting out, and I'm not satisfied with some of my earlier work. So, it was removed. And all other graphics that I eventually stop liking will also be removed, no matter how few of them are left.
The current layout
Version 11. was put online on March 09th 2008, as an attempt to an even more professional design, combined with light, vibrant colors. I got tired of the previous version's darkness, as have, I suspect, most of our visitors. So, here's something different, something refreshing, something easier on the eyes. The idea is to keep the site simple, user-friendly, and to keep all of the content reachable in a couple of steps.
I wasn't planning on using any images in this design, but then I added some stars behind the site title, and liked it. The stars came from Resurgere stock. Everything else on this layout was made by me.
