This site used to be a typical "downloads" site, with premade layouts, wallpapers, icons, and some other content that got added and removed as time went by.
And it worked really good, I was able to keep both myself and my visitors happy, since I was able to produce new graphics now and then. But lately, as time went by, as university, a full time job, other activities and interestes kicked in, there's been less time for graphic making, and more time for, well, not so many things.
Since I adore this site, and can't imagine to ever let it go, I decided to keep it, turn it into a more personal site, equiped with a blog where I can be less web-master-y-like and more like myself.
I'll do my best to offer some free goodies from time to time, of course.
Site history
My first website was created... ages ago, and it featured wallpapers, blends, poetry, and some fantasy art. I moved on from there to a poetry site, a separated fantasy art gallery, a graphic site, and it all made me, well, crazy. The coding was lousy, and the designs quite plain. So, I decided to combine it all into one site, clear it out and finally buy a domain.
Endless-Light.com was bought on February 17th 2005. Yes, it celebrated it's fifth birthday in February! And it'll be ready to be sucked into the educational system next year, when it turns six.
The current layout
Version 12. was put online in June 2010., two years after the last layout, and was an almost complete revamp of the site.
It uses a color theme from Kuler, a very helpful little site for those who have seen far too many color combinations and think they can't invent anything new (yes, that's me).
It also uses a lovely ornament by Design-maker.
Item inventory
My idea is to actually have less items as time goes by, removing all the bad ones, and keeping only those I still love. Of course, some of them will be here based on their sentimental value.
