• Corel Photo-Paint X3 - an image editor. Although I am aware of its many faults, I worked in it since I started designing and I've gotten quite used to it.
• Adobe Photoshop CS3 - an image editor.
• Notepad ++ - a free text editor.
• SmartFTP - excellent FTP client, free for personal use.

• W3 Schools - I got lots of usefull information about HTML and CSS here. There are also more advanced tutorials there, such as those on XML, SQL, etc.
• Wordpress - blog tool and weblog platform.
• A list apart - numberous articles and tutorials "for people who make websites".
• Listamatic - all you need to know about lists.
• In Obscuro - the contact form was made using Nela's tutorial.
• Kali's Web Shoppe - information, tutorials and useful tools for building a website.
• Daydream Graphics - most of DDG's tutorials were used for PHP coding on this site: for the news script, layout database and parts of the Content Managment System.
